Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. Her mother lived in areas of slums for three years until she turned 3 years old when she was adopted. Her adopted father, a Filipina-American who has a military background was white, and American. The woman has said she and the adopted brother that she was with were subject to abuse by their adoptive parents from when she was young until the time that she joined the military. To move to Texas after she reached 13her family stayed for several months in San Francisco to stay with her Aunt. Her mother says that the physical violence stopped within a couple of months but that she continued to deal with the psychological abuse her father inflicted on her. She became a part of the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch created her TikTok profile in April of 2020. In just eight months, she had more that forty million followers. Poarch uploaded a variety of videos however the one that became her most well-known was Millie B's viral hit Soph Aspin Send. This became one of TikTok's most viewed videos. The video zoomed in to show her dancing rhythmically, while lip-syncing to the track became viral. After joining TikTok, she created her own YouTube account and one on Twitter to increase her fame. Twitter one to maximize her popularity. Her fame grew exponentially at the end of December in 2020. It was reported that she was the target of two big professional Esports groups. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves were interested in her appointment as an author of content under their respective brands.
