Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American model and a singer. She is also co-starring with Prince in his 1984 film, Purple Rain. Her most famous work is the main character in Prince's 1984 Purple Rain film and lead singer in the girl-group Apollonia 6 The actor and singer christened Apollonia by Prince became one of the many female artists in the '80s to benefit from her association with the Purple One. Patricia Kotero is a Californian actress, born in the city of Santa Monica in 1959. Her beginnings included working as a television model. Between 1985 and 1986, she was offered a role on the drama series for evenings Falcon Crest. Apollonia's debut album came out in 1988. The R&B and dance songs were not a huge hit by those who bought music. It soon disappeared. Throughout the decade that followed the singer-songwriter remained an active actress, playing minor roles in films as well as small television shows.
