Linda Edna Cardellini's parents include businessmen Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). They were born at Redwood City in California. She is of Italian, German (from the paternal maternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descendance. Linda grew in San Francisco Bay region, California being the eldest of four siblings. Her career began in the year 2010 when she appeared in the British television series Just William, in which she attended London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Following her role in the role of Lady Rose MacClare in the period drama series Downton Abbey (2012-2015), her breakout role was playing the title role in the film of fantasy Cinderella (2015).
